We men left this morning to file for our children’s passports and after they came back we took all our kiddo’s to get their passport photos. Avi Joy had to sit on this stool and she cannot sit up or look into the camera and then she started to cry, so we will see how those photo’s come out tomorrow, hehe.

We went to the ‘mall’ its like the market but indoors and air-conditioned. Everything there is beautiful. I am sure Adam is going to have to say no to me a lot because I want to buy all the clothes, shoes, handbags, Avi Joy’s clothes, gifts, earrings, everything is handmade and divine! I am using restraint considering we have to fly home with everything, so nothing breakable.

We did not realize that the Vietnamese people we so into art. There is an art studio or art shop selling originals or prints on every corner even in the rural areas. We took a picture of two men painting, I wanted one of those painting so bad, just stunning, an abstract piece. But we will see.

Ho Chi Minh City is a very popular place to be. There are all nationalities visiting here or living here. We hear all Asian dialects, German, French and many others. At breakfast you just sit at tables with strangers, we sat with a man from France here on business. Adam was in the elevator with an Arab man, Japanese man, Vietnamese woman and a Frenchman. The elevator was overloaded (they are tiny like 4 x 4 feet) so it stopped and one person had to get off.

Tonight we are going to all have dinner together. There is another family from Dillon whose child was in a different province than ours so they just finished and met up with us here. They actually received their referral over 3 years ago, right after receiving the referral of their baby the country closed to re-vamp its program. They have waited for this little gift all this time and never gave up on him. They are a great example to all of us.

One great thing about this new hotel room that we are in is it had internet access. Somehow, were not sure how, we must be close enough to wireless connection thing, so we are sitting in bed checking our email and managing our blog, its wonderful, especially now with a sleeping baby, we don’t have to go to the business office and sit and wait!

            Till Tomorrow!

      Hey guys,
Everything sounds so exiting and interesting over there. I can't wait to see all your videos. I wasn't able to download all of them. I want to see Adam and the first diaper change! Ha! Ha! I am still praying for you and I know you will be strong and victorious all the way back home and through your journey of parenthood. You guys are awesome!
We had a partnership meeting yesterday for CommonGround Church. Pastor Tom said he would post our Women's Group in the bulliten as a Connection Group, so we may be growing. We also talked about you and your trip. I told him about your website and he was exited to check it out. I have dance class again tonight. I'm really looking forward to it. Alexis is going with me, she wants to dance soooo bad! I think it will be fun for us to do it together.
Enjoy everything, the good and the bad! We learn from both, and it makes us stronger!
      Love you guys!

Kris and I want to thank you two/three sooo much for allowing us to experience this with you. We are both asking each other if we have read the latest update or seen the newest pictures. It is like a reality show that we can't wait to view again and again. Avi Joy is absolutely beautiful and we know you guys are and should be extremely proud. Her eyes in the picture just beam that she is loved. Can't wait to get to know her and the new Adam and Na...knowing that this experience will have to leave some kind of change on you guys. Keep enjoying this journey and know your friends and family are prayerfully lifting you up!

Hi, so glad you guys made it safe and sound into HCMC and that your enjoying your time there. It's great about all of the other nationalities your getting to see and visit with in HCMC, very cool... It's also awesome that the Vietnamese people are so into art, my guess is that Avi Joy has the 'art' gene just like her Mom!!! (As a fabulous piece of art gift from Mom to me declares: "Every Child is An Artist"... so I know this to be true!!! Love you all. Granpa Ken

I have been following your process with your dad Ken (I work with him). I check every day for your latest blog and new pictures. She is a precious gift from god. I'm sure it's hard for you to put her down. I know you both want to just hold her all the time. I will be praying for the safe return of all 3 of you.

I'm still praying for any anxious moments you might have, Natasha! Wow, God has sure been faithful to work out all the details and He'll continue to do so. I can't imagine what you must think and feel as you sit in this faraway country and watch your "newborn" (to you) baby sleep. Can't wait to see her. Keep posting your prayer requests...enjoy!!

I think that that kind of ecclecticism would almost disarm me. Is it something that makes you travel weary, or does it make your heart come alive?
