Saturday was another free day so all that families got dressed up and we took family pictures on the beach. Ninh Thuan is just stunning and we hope the pictures turn out really well. All the children had a great time playing in the water; everyone’s kiddo’s  seem to get along and they play well together. It is awesome to see how each child is a perfect match for their family; the Lord surely knows what He’s doing.

Avi is doing well, we think she may be teething. She was fussy for two days and had a fever and is drooling everywhere. So we will see!

If the Hotel Saigon Ninh Chu wasn’t 36 hours by plane then 7 hours by bus, it would be the perfect vacation spot. Our bill for 4 nights, 3 meals a day, 3 international phone calls, with taxes and everything was only $265! That is the difference between a province and a major city, it is back to regular American prices in HCMC.

We hit the road early and made it back to Ho Chi Minh City about 5:30 or so. We all were craving American food so we headed out for pizza and oh did it taste good! We were only out during the day last time so going out for dinner was a totally different experience. The city lights up at night. Hundreds of people/families are just sitting along the streets watching people and eating. There are gardens and fountains where people gather to just hang out. It was fun seeing it and overwhelming at the same time.

We have a lot of adoption ‘business’ to do this week. Filing government paperwork, getting our children’s passports and going to a doctors visit (all adopted children have to have an exit doctors app’t.) Our social workers Phuong, Minh and Thomas are so much fun and are doing a great job translating for us and keeping us on a schedule.

Please continue to pray that we have endurance and enjoy every moment of our time here and not just to wish is away. It seems easy to do this when you just want to go home and knowing you can’t yet produces an anxious feeling that I hate. Pray that we press through with great attitudes.

Vietnam funny: everyone here calls you Sir and Madame. I have never been called Madame before and with their cute accent it is just so sweet. The staff at the laceName w:st="on">RexlaceName> laceName w:st="on">HotellaceName> also delivers delicious chocolates to your room just before bed time. : )

Well we are off to bed, its been a long day and we are in need of some rest! Thank you for reading and posting.

Wow, what an exciting time you are having! What a bargain for the hotel stay and beautiful beaches! I am so happy for that! It must be so interesting to watch the local art with your art background! Another thing that you have in common with your child's homeland! Can't wait to see you and hold Avi Joy, I love the pictures, keep them coming Enjoy ever minute in your child's homeland, you are her link to paint those pictures as she grows up about where she was born The time there is a blessing to you as you learn everything about your child and her home Country, she will have lots of questions later in life You will be back very soon! Blessings to you guys! I am praying for you

I kind of wish we still called people Mme. It's so French sofisticate! As I'm French, I'm a little partial...
