Avi Joy is getting so big. She can sit up, says mama and dada all day long, she has toy preferences, loves bath time, she naps a couple hours at a time now, she loves to pull my hair and is a giggle box!
We drove to Dexter to visit my mother’s side of the family over Thanksgiving. It was great to see all my aunts, uncles and cousins. We had a precious time with our grandparents; Avi Joy is the first great-grandchild.
We stayed in Tulsa over Christmas. My father drove up from Dallas to attend Avi Joy’s dedication on Christmas Eve. She defiantly knows her grandparents; she knows who loves on her and spoils her. J
Just before Christmas we attended Sarah Homans baptism. It was a blessed event! We are always so excited to see the girls together. After the baptism we dined at a local Vietnamese restaurant!
Christmas day was perfect. We got to see all Adam’s family and my step-dad’s family too. Avi Joy loves all her presents almost as much as eating the wrapping paper.
We celebrated New Years with the Pierces. They have a new little baby and we loved getting them together, they will be life long friends.
On January 5th we attended Ha Cricks reception. She works for Dillon International Adoption Agency and oversees all the orphanages in Vietnam. Dillon is now adopting children from 5 orphanages. She is a busy woman, a hard worker and LOVES our children. Last year when we attended her reception, all the families who went were waiting for referrals. It was wonderful to see all the families this year because we all had our children! It was also fun to meet and talk with families waiting to travel. We were honored to share all our travel details with them.
It is such a privilege to say home with Avi Joy. Each day we wake, have breakfast, play, bathe, play, nap, read, go outside or go for a walk, play, start dinner and wait for daddy to come home. Most of the time we go out and do something… like lunch, an errand or better yet give someone a haircut to break up the day.
When daddy comes home, she is all smiles, which is soooo cute. I am sure it is nice to see another face besides mamas!
We are blessed by the Lord and commit our lives to Him each day. Avi Joy is our gift from Him and we are honored to be apart of the adoption community.

Our goal is to update our site every three months… I know some families are on the ball and update like weekly, but we are shooting for at least 4-5 times a year. We have tons of out of state family and great friends who will be able to see Avi Joy grow through our site. Thank you so much, we love each of you.
With LOVE,
Adam, Natasha and Avi Joy
